We are pleased to announce that in an effort to increase our environmental efficiency we have recently procured a Weima WL4 Shredder and a Weima C150 Briquette press. These machines will allow us to convert our waste timber into briquette blocks that are used on domestic fires.

Most of the briquettes will be used at our registered office to fire the boiler giving heat and hot water. The remainder will be distributed to the factory staff on a first come first serve basis.

The above will mean in short that we will no longer need to use timber skips thus reducing the landfill knock on.

Our ongoing effort to keep the company “green” will continue though a policy of effective environmental management where ever the practical opportunity arises.
