Lecture Theatre Seating

Our lecture theatre seating is specifically designed to withstand the rigours of the most demanding educational environments.

We have installed our lecture seating and fixed tiers to almost all of the major Universities in the UK, as well as many colleges and a large number of schools. From basic lecture chairs with a continuous writing ledge to those complete with under-arm fold away tablets, our sturdy lecture seating solutions are designed to meet the very demanding nature of today’s educational environments.

Lecture theatre seating has to be robust enough so it can be constantly in use for the entire working day, and with thousands of students in it every week. The lecture seating installed needs to be able to cope with this heavy use while still being functional and comfortable so the students can get the most out of their lecture without worrying about their surroundings.

Comfortable lecture chairs are paramount, given that students will be sat for considerable lengths of time and need to remain focused on the lecture. Discomfort can lead to disruptions which affect the individual student and potentially those around them, reducing the amount of time actually spent learning.

Finally, lecture theatre seating needs to be functional for a learning environment beyond just being a chair. This is usually achieved by having a writing ledge replacing one arm or sometimes as the only arm, something which is both unique and synonymous with lecture theatre seating, and facilitates easy note-taking without the need for full tables.

Auditoria provide a range of different lecture theatre seating, all of which can be tailored to suit the space requirements and needs of the students. See the links below for more information:
