Lecture Theatre Seating | Fixed Tiering
Tiered seating provides an advantage to your audience, as they can see the point of action no matter how far back they are. Fixed tiering is the ideal permanent seating solution for venues that require seating all of the time, such as lecture theatres. To maximise site lines and comfort Auditoria Services can install fixed tiering to your venue. A combination of flat floor, stepped or raked flooring can turn your space into the perfect auditorium.
The following options are available:
- Eurocord heavy contract carpet to treads and riser faces
- Standard nosings to all aisle steps and edging strips to all exposed edges of carpet
- Individual fixed front, rear and side rails
- Diffuser holes
- Mesh grills
- Acoustic pads
- Class ‘0’ treatment to decks.
Fixed Tiering
Understructure manufactured from 40mm x 40mm (as standard) hollow section, suitably braced and secured to sub-floor. Tread and rows are covered with a double or a single layer of birch plywood securely fastened to the understructure. Staging and platforms designed to take an imposed load of 5KN/M2 in addition to its own weight
Fixed Tiering (Raker)
Understructure manufactured from hollow box section, suitably braced and secured to raker beams & sub-floor. Tread and rows are covered with a double or a single layer of birch plywood securely fastened to the understructure. Designed to take an imposed load of 5KN/M2 in addition to its own weight.
