Retractable seating, sometimes referred to as telescopic seating or tiered seating and bleachers, is a form of rowed seating that can fold away to reduce the space a seat will take up when not in use. They are most commonly seen in theatres, gymnasiums, cinemas, and lecture halls.

RS 1 Retractable Seating
Compound polypropylene seat and backs with anti-UV and anti-static additives on a retractable unit also available in a tread and riser fixed format.

RS1 Seat
390mm front to back and 420mm side to side. Shell is contoured to allow for a comfortable sitting position.
RS1 Back
280mm top to bottom and 390mm side to side. Shell is contoured to create a lumbar support with a ‘roll’ on the top part of the shell.
RS1 Stanchions
Constructed from hollow section steel and plate, complete with sprung ‘auto-tip’ seat brackets to BS5216 ND/3. All steelwork is powder coated to RAL 7016 anthracite grey or RAL 9005 jet black as standard.
RS1 Plastic Shells
Seats and backs moulded in compounded polypropylene with a smooth finish and anti UV &
anti-static additives. Choose from 6 colours in the standard range.
