Our Retractable Fixed Tiering
Our retractable fixed tiering solution allows a single or multiple rows of fixed tiering at the rear of a retractable unit to accommodate additional fixed seating or a light and sound control area. Depending on the specification of the tiering, the void below can be used as a storeroom, a walkway, or for the retractable unit to be stored beneath. Fixed tiering at the rear of a retractable unit can also provide access to the seating from upper floor levels.
Specification
Typically manufactured from a 40mm x 40mm hollow section, suitably braced and secured to the sub-floor. Tread and rows covered with 18mm birch plywood securely fastened to the understructure. Staging and platforms designed to take an imposed load of 5KN/M2 in addition to its own weight.
